Banks grant 4.9 tln rbl of loans to real estate developers in Aug

MOSCOW, Oct 4 (PRIME) -- The volume of loans to the developers approved by the Russian banks rose by 11% to 4.9 trillion rubles in August, the central bank said on Monday.

“The total limit of credit agreements signed by banks and developers stands at 4.9 trillion rubles,” the central bank said.

The number of escrow accounts amounted to more than 556,700 as of September 1, 2021. The total amount of funds placed by the participants of share construction at the end of August exceeded 2.6 trillion rubles, having increased by 8%.
